Is it possible to run a mated NP205 behind an E4OD. I wasn't sure about the output on the tranny mating up with the 205 input? I read a post about some issues clearing driveshafts also. Any ideas? I can use the chain drive case but would like to keep my 205. Truck is a 79'

the 205 does move the front output closer to the trans, i dont think it will clear a e40d. i ran one in mine for a bit, the output was about 3 inches closer to the trans then with the 1356.

but yes it will bolt to the trans. almost every ford 4x4 trans has the same spline and 6 bolt round pattern.
