I think your tach sensor or gauge are shot... Or your tranny is slipping like nobodies business

First gear at 17 mph, 2000 rpm checks out. When it goes to second at 17 mph it should have dropped down to 1138 rpm.... I caught a still at 20 mph, and the tach indicates 1750, when it should be 1338...

That needle is hardly moving during shifts and acceleration...

Figures assume 235/85r16 tire and use your 4.10 gears. If your BFGoodrich all terrains are larger, the rpms would be even lower.

The TECA reads both RPM and vehicle speed, and needs a good input to shift right

265/75 so only wider not taller.

I can replace the tach sensor and see if that helps, but 1338 seems kinda low to me?

The math checks out for 1338 rpm at 20 mph in second... On my truck with 3.83 gears it'll be closer to 22

Update again.

I set the TPS/FIPL at 1.1 volts, but I ran into an issue when I tried to move it, not matter what I did I couldnt get it below 2Volts. I tried the 2 sensors I had and still nothing. Then I noticed on the screws for the main bracket was loose....

So I had to remove the intake and I set the bracket and snugged those bolts up nice and tight. I also noticed that it had a sticking point right where it needed to be, and even moving it a tad it would throw the numbers way off. Im wondering if by some chance the bracket would move ever so slightly and cause the TPS to go out of wack, thus causing my issue.

So im shifting as smooth as a babys bottom now.

I got 1.1V at idle and 3.95 at WOT

Now onto double checking my timing and replacing my 3 burnt GPs.... Joy...

When I set the timing I should be able to check the timing and match my tach vs the meter
