dipstick o-ring?

is there one or a part number? the tube has two lips where it looks like one would go?

Here is a pic, and someone will have the part #. It comes on two pieces one with an o-ring and another one about 1 inch long that goes in the block.

BTW-I tried finding one at the parts store and spent about $10 buying packages of o-rings. If I new where the other 3 where, I would drop one in the mail.

Mine was more trouble than it was worth so I have used RTV without any leaks. So now I can buy the actuall part. Thanks for the part number guys. I still like RTV better though...

Crap man. All these years and I never knew this existed. I am missing that bracket up top too so my tube is really floppy

I use the gray stuff from permetex. works very well. just make sure the parts are clean and no oil is on it.
