dead injector pump?

I pulled into a gas station and it was missing and loping so I shut it down then it wouldnt crank. I played with it and found that it would crank sometimes when the lift pump was audibly running.

I got hosed by a Garage in Ms, said there was water in the diesel, BS. I payed them 300$ to rip me off and I kept telling them it was the injection pump. I dont like to talk about it cause it makes me angry theire are dodge dealerships out there who aint got a clue to fix a 24 valve

Yes the one that I went to told me that it wasn't covered and then finally looked and found that it was. I don't know much but I seem to know more then the dealer did. I have 20k left on my warrenty so if it dies I hope it will be before then. I am just dreading going through all of that again.

When they die the truck just acts like it ran out of fuel just stops running and will not start.
