now you need a 2kw inverter that will power the hair dryer and a remote switch and maybe a few zip ties and duct tape to mount it and you can completly eliminate the gp's

I used to see my dad do that with his early 80's full size blazer....LOL...The old quadra-junk carb really didn't like the cold and the blazer was used for plowing so the old man cursed every snow storm...

So,...is this a low tech version of the Cummins pre-heater? I suspect the colder out the hotter the hair dryer you would need and longer you would need to run it. Might be useful info to remember if/when the glow plugs quit and you must get 'er going!! Good job.
