with the rust in the cowl area,,theres no way id try and fix that cab......been there...go looking,,and asking,,about a good cab. youll be money ahead................

The truck is worth more in parts/scrap than an actual driving truck. You have no real sentimental attachment to it, so thats not holding you back. I've lived in Tyler, and Houston, and these trucks are a dime a dozen. Plus, most all have no rust aside from the coastal area ones. Most are beat to hell, but most probably dont have the rust issues your looking at...

Save yourself a headache and ditch the truck. You will save time, money, and sanity.

Going for a cab swap. Easiest thing to do. Already half way into this truck. Might as well.

Still looking for a good cab.....Even the distant yards aren't much help. Ask them for pictures in certain areas is like asking for the whole cab for free.....2 weeks later and still nothing.
