I generally like the idea of paying a little more money up front and having something that will last a lot longer. I can see myself eventually justifying that kind of purchase if they were to become available in the future.

I'd buy them it would take me a couple weeks to come up with the money, but I would consider it worth it. Could you make them out of other materials such as brass?

Why brass? They could be made but would take longer

Or tap the injector body with nipples and do away with the o-rings completely... And give you a set of useless cores.

Just a wild thought I had a while back.

i would not do brass.
you cannot coat brass, and when they green up, you will have issues.

id suspect in 4 years, they would start oxidizing
anodized aluminum will last a lifetime.
altho it would be expensive, but well worth it...
even if you have 500 in caps, it would save you time and money.

i think the o-rings and hoses would be your biggest issue.

500 for caps? Sorry, I would never pay that much for aluminum caps. Even if I had to replace the plastic ones once a year (and you dont), theyre like 20-30 bucks, will take you a long time to justify the costs.

I do like the idea and would probably buy a set if they do come out on the market. But the old style plastic return line caps with viton o-rings do last a long time. I have known guys running same return line kit for 10 years no problems. I think the key to longevity is not disturbing lines once they reach that age. A slight bump or nudge would probably cause them to leak.

nope.
the OP did build a rad set, but he wont do them for the *****.
and they would be very expensive.
altho, pretty damn badass once powder coated or anodized.

to the OP, if youre not going to make them, try to patent them and sell the design to conestoga diesel :sly
