V - "The BOSS"
Bought a '96 F350 CC LB E4OD XLT w/ 7.5ft Western Uni-mount and brought it home with a road trip. We went NW of Chicago (near Rockford) last saturday and picked it up. It is really rusty in places. I have a Texas bed that is pristine to go on it and a set of fenders and cab corners. And it will be good to go. Has 320K on it. Trans has 18K on it. Tires are 85%+. I got a file folder full of service records with it. It has had injectors and harnesses and GP's in the recent past. All kinds of other parts replaced too. It has been a plow truck since new. But, the price was completely right. I have sold the complete plow already for some cost recovery too. Drives really nice and it will work for the tractor pull excursion's teriffic. The kids are more than happy to ride in the back seat.... Lots of room for them now.... The count is now up to 5 Fords..... I hate to say it but, I think the '93 F350 is gonna have to hit the road sometime this summer.... Then I will be back to only 1 IDI.... The original "Black Dog".....
