Sounds like I need a spare heater core from this American made place just north of me.. Be a nice drive up the coast too plus I can spend some cash purchasing lots of 1937 Cord wiring harness part and door locks.. Maybe a few more million dollar "needed" parts....

Yuh, this is gonna be a treasure hunt. I found a couple Pro Source brand copper/brass cores for my '85 at AutoZtoned, but that only fits the slant-nose with the heater core in the plastic box under the hood. From their own web site, Pro Source's only offering for the OBS is aluminum.

@icanfixall give em a couple weeks to make them up.
He is making me one and a shelf unit for stock.

Ok so their website lists everything as alum.
Just got a call from the shop floor" the website is generic OOPS"
We don't do any alum. Cores nor rad's!
These guys are flowcooler/ aka brassworks.

I believe the prestone yellow bottle - green coolant all makes all models is acceptable with the ford additive. I'll test the bottle i just picked up from walmart tonight if i remember. I just got a few bottles for my PSD. It should contain 2000ppm sodium nitrite, 2200ppm alkalinity and have a pH around 9.5-10.0. The ford additive should have both additional sodium nitrite and molybdate, i would assume tolyltriazole too. Eventually i'll get a bottle and test for how much it contains. I run the pink Fleetcharge from tractor supply - pH of 10.0 (not Primatech from Fleet Pride ph of 11.0) in my IDI with the additional additive i get from work. the higher pH is better for steel but it will corrode aluminum eventually. But a new radiator, or heater core is cheaper than cylinder liners if you dont have any other choice. The pink fleetcharge from tractor supply is what i would reccomend if you dont want to mess with addtivies.

the hole it goes into

The backside...
You have to pull relay box on the rt side to access the cover screw then drop cover and fight the steel cable off the plastic bellcrank first and pull the spear mounts on the 2vacc lines off.

The white plug goes into it.
