Years ago I had one on my previous chevy truck with the 4L60E and it didn't work worth a damn. It leaked so bad I just ended up throwing that one away and installed a cast aluminum pan on it. No more leaks after that. Those tin pans are junk and will leak even when you torque the bolts to spec.

I bought a Mag Hitech E4OD aluminum pan. That sucker holds an extra 2 gallons of trans fluid. Towing hevay I rarely see trans temps higher that 190 in the summer. Most driving the temps are 140 to 160.. Kinda cool but it works well. Sure gonna be a mess and an expensive mess when I change the fluid. Nothing I have will hold all the E4OD fluid with the extra 2 gallons... Guess I better do it on my neighbors lawn some nite around 2 am....:eek::D
