advice on taking 94 factory turbo off

alright guy's im bout to attempt to take the factory turbo off for a guy on his 94, does anybody have any tip's or advice before I try taking it off. Ive taken off a powerstrokes before but is it harder then it? thanks

are you taking the turbo off to rebuild it or are you taking the whole kit off to put on a new engine?

ive never taken mine off and I installed it when the engine was on a stand, but I would imagine you would take the intake off, drop the down pipe and then undo the intake snail and the flange. also the oil pressure sender, and the oil supply need to come off.

I took mine off when I did the 3" outlet mod and installed the Diamond Eye exhaust and downpipe. The reason it had to come off was that I couldn't get some of the outlet flange bolts loose with it on the engine.

For me the most difficult part was the 4 bolts on the up pipe flange. There is a couple of them that are real bears. Just take your time, use some rust buster and various wrenches.
