I have seen it pop up as the computer dust off, but if I where looking for a big can to fill the truck and then maybe do some other r12 vehicles as side. Where are you guys getting your r152?

I just bought a side can tap and cans of duster. I don't know where you would be able to buy it in bulk. You really only need a couple cans per vehicle anyway.

You must be registered for see images attach

How are you determining charging amount? Most refrigerants have widely variable pressures between kinds.

If your going from an R12 system to R152a you take the factory fill amount and multiply it by .56

You can find them on ebay or napa sells them as well. Its for standard size R12 cans witch happens to be the same size as the duster cans. The one I have is a Yellow Jacket 36193

I just did what these guys did. Used R152a in my R12 system. It works well and is safer than propane and the other hydrocarbon blends. Its also approved by the EPA as a drop in replacement for R12.

Somehow I doubt the EPA approves of tapping computer duster cans to refill auto A/C regardless of what's in them... Not to mention evacuating anything left in the system and putting a vacuum on it to draw moisture out. I doubt anyone is doing anything "EPA approved" in their backyard.
