I'm several months into my first diesel truck project, and wanted to let you know how much help the information on this site has been.

*The suspension is done including new ball joints.
*The old girl has a new set of tires
*The IP is rebuild, and fuel lines replaced
*The transmission is rebuilt including upgrades left out the first time around.
*Nitrite is at 1200
*Auto hubs replaces with manual warns.

***Bodywork and interior is a work in progress

****But, after MUCH agonizing over it all, and based on information mostly from this site I'm ordering a Banks Sidewinder kit so that my old girl won't have to smoke and struggle up the long grades anymore. That decision was a big deal for me based on all the marine NA to turbo upgrades I've seen end in total disaster. Based on all I've read I honestly believe that that old 7.3 will handle the extra hp and torque.

Again, thanks for all the input.

Sounds like your well your way! Adding a turbo helps a ton and most have no issues unless maybe going for more performance.
