Well thank ya ! I signed up a few months ago and that's all I've been doing is research I'm amazed by the in depth articles and all the people helping people [emoji106]

I already replaced the all the glow plugs and wired in a manual push button for them
With a manual glow plug set up you have no "Afterglow" as the factory calls it. "The glow plugs will cycle for up to two minutes to reduce white smoke" quoted from factory service manual. Let the glow plug controller ,if it is known to be good, do its thing and see if smoke is reduced. Note that the wait to start light does not illuminate in after glow mode.
