just bought a 93 ford f350 7.3 idi. was told it had an injector going out. hasnt been start in probably 3 to 4 years. it sounded like it was out of time, and when you stuck your hand to the exhuast it sucks your hand to it when you crank on it. looked up timimg for it put it on top dead center on number one cylinder, lined up he marks and it sounds better but still wont start. Figured out there was no fuel getting up to the filter. the pump is working and the fuel shutoff is workin. pulled the tank down and now getting a fuel but most of it is coming out of the fuel return line.it will almost start on starting fluid but still wont start?????? need some help??

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you need a return line kit to stop the injector leaks. Hopefully the hard lines are not cracked or cross threaded to the injectors too causing the fuel leaks. Never use starting fluid and the glow plugs at the same time. you might bend a rod because if the staring fluid igniting early when the glows are lit up. Also never pour any diesel or gas down the inject. It will cause the engine to run uncontrollably in the run away mode. No governor or throttle control. that engine will pass the rpm limit and break. Its not a nice site to see either.
