'92 7.3 Turbo IDI...Fuel Filter Light

My neighbor has the above listed truck....Fuel Filter Light came on today...He changed the fuel filter...its still on....I think he said that as he accelerates the light glows brighter...

I really know very little aboutthe details of the IDI...Any advice gentlemen???

Lift pump may be getting weak. Not having enough presure to keep up with the injection pump.

yep if the light works and its just not always on I would say lift pump is week test fuel preasure
