86 c6 forward clutch assembly

hello,after rebuilding the c6 and installing it and finding i had reverse but no forward unless reved way up , i pulled it back out today and found the seal rings broken in pieces on the forward clutch assembly and the new clutch dics worn to the metal. i will be ordering some new parts and try it agin. those are clled lock seling rings and i must have not locked them. greenhorn mistake and i hope this helps some body out later. i will post when i get it done and see if it works better,thanks for the help.

Yeah that does suck. I won't even tell you the number of things I screwed up with my E4OD before I got it right. I will say it could have been worse! Hope it works this time and good luck.
