thinking about putting my 7.3 idi with banks sidewinder and zf5 tranny in a 1991 f250, the f250 has a 460 in it, what will i need to do to make this swap work? i know ill need new motor mounts, and i heard the transmission crossmember would have to be moved on a f150, is this the same on an f250 gas? will i have to bend the firewall to fit the banks turbo

A small amount of firewall work is needed to fit the turbo but not much.. Nothing more than some 4 lb hammer work and a little seem bending for the down pipe..

Take a hand grinder with a cut off wheel and cut the firewall lip. Cut the passenger's side half of the lip. That's all that is needed. Make the cuts about 1 inch apart. They should be cut the through the entire depth of the lip. Bend them up and toward the trans tunnel. That will give you room for the Banks plumping.

The crossmembers should be fine if you have the same tranmission in the gasser rig.
