did the problematic 53 blocks come in all 24v ctd rams ?

any info would be great....

Most common, but not restricted too, 98.5 - 2000 24V

Here's a linky with some good info on the casting numbers as well as crack repairs. The infamous "53" blocks were in the 24 valve from 98 - 2001 and not just the Dodge Ram either. Hope this helps.
