460 swap

i got a buddy whos got a 92 460 fuel injected and he is switching it over to carb. we have the intake off of an earlier motor that was carb and the intake sits to low in the valley. does he have to use the heads off the earlier motor or is there an intake he can buy that will fit the newer motor

heads have to match the intake. you have to run the carb heads to the carb intake. also you will have to run the exhaust manifolds to match the heads. the carb heads also have bigger exhaust ports then the f/i ones, so you will have to run the manifolds/headers to match the heads. been there done that.

Why is he switching over to carb?

I've been told that there is a kit that puts an adapter on the lower manifold for a carb but I've herd it sucks.
