29 QUARTS???

The capacities and specifications link on Autozone lists the cooling system capacity for my '94 7.3 Turbo diesel as 29 Qts. Can anyone confirm this?

I think they maybe a little high on that. I know that Enterprise (1991) always took I believe 6 gallons.

Including the reservoir, that is pretty close for total capacity.

Mine was full with about 7+Gallons.

7 gallons sounds just about right.

I know on my 7.3 when I installed a fresh engine and blew out the heater core, it took around 7 + gallons to fill everything from scratch. I used the best part of 2 cases of Evans coolant to the tune of around $300

29 quarts should be 7.5 gallons, right. Sounds like the right amount of coolant to me.

some places will even tell you 8 gallons which is high but 7.5 is a good estimate if you get it pretty dry.
