Hi guy's, I sure hate to sell this truck, but if it doesn't go in a week it gets crushed, this would be a great truck for someone who wants to invest minimal time!

1986 F250

6.9L Diesel (non turbo) around 155k miles

4X4

C6 auto trans

3:55 gears

Dana 44 TTB

THE GOOD

all new brake lines

new glow plugs

new starter

replaced fuel tank pickups

new rear shocks

new wheel cylinders in rear

all new seals and bearings in rear axle (10.25 corp rear end)

all new u-joints

tilt steering

a/c

THE BAD

Needs a torque converter (truck currently does NOT move)

I am asking 1,000 OBO for truck without the snow blade and used tires

1,500.00 for truck with the snow blade and used tires

1,800 for truck WITHOUT blade WITH the new tires

2,300.00 for truck with blade and new tires

Please call me @ (630) 386-6436 since I am not usually close to the computer.

Truck is located about 45 minutes southwest of Chicago. I am located within 15 minutes of I-55, I-80, and I-88.

Local delivery available for additional fee.

I am open to offers/partial trades/full trades. I really don't want to scrap this truck, I just have no room.

Please no tire kickers, I think my time should be as valuable as anyone elses.

Thanks, Brad

The truck has the typical rust around the rear wheel wells, has a few different coats of paint on it. I drove it for a year and plowed with it all winter. It has a conventinal 7'6" western plow on it with new cables and pump motor.

If I didn't have so many other projects I would keep it.

Click on pictures to enlarge them, please do not hesitate to call, if I don't answer, leave a message with your name and phone number thanks.

Darn decent truck. I've got a torque converter I'd donate to make it move again if it came to that.

Yeah I really hate to get rid of this truck but I also have a '94 regular cab f350 7.3 sitting on 35's with fresh paint and a '93 f250 cab and 1/2 7.3 that I almost have the bodywork done on. I am far from leaving the "idi brotherhood" I just don't have the room nor the time. I imagine if someone made this a ZF-5 truck with the 3:55 gears they would be fairly happy.

I have spent alot of time and money replacing alot of parts.

It also has new rear brake shoes/drums, new fuel line from both tanks - to selector - to fuel pump and a host of other things. It's been really good to me, but I knew the torque converter was iffy and it finally went, my loss your gain.

I can also throw in another reg cab that's bare (just the cab shell)

Someone could really have some fun with this truck, it's really sound mechanically other than the trans.

I'm going to be doing some scrapping of metal this week. PM me, I think we can work something out... :)

What are the used tires on it? How much grippage left? I just so happen to have a torque converter...

I called the local yard and they said 675 but it's worth 1k since it has a good set of bfg A/T's on it, plus the plow is still worth some money.

It really is a nice plow truck, anyone in the midwest would be able to say that
