I don't know what's more amazing, the swap or the fact that you're doing it outdoors in WI in early March. Gotta be a southwest truck, eh? They almost never sold trucks that color up here.

He ain't lying.Mid 80's tomorrow and most of next week!:D

Oh that's where the truck's from, not where you are.Amazing what a month will do.My god that -25 up there was a killer when I passed through.OUCH! That cold hurts. Not just uncomfortable. That is indeed hard to imagine it's good enough for you to be out there working on a truck in it already.

YES do that. It is a LOT easier to handle with the transfer case removed. It won't be off balance on the tranny jack of floor jack with the transfer case removed.

All right guys so this is my first build thread. So for the last couple weeks I have been tearing down my 1984 6.9 idi f250 and a 1994.5 7.3 powerstroke. So far I have the front end of both trucks ripped apart fenders hood ect. I'm going to not only swap the engine and transmission but also the interior. I will post pictures of both trucks later today.
maybe wrong section? This is the IDI section - your build is PSD.
I would say in the PSD section is the correct audience.
