It's been an interesting read! Good luck!

I have collapsed a cone style element to the point of almost total restriction with no dirt getting past the filter to the turbo...
I have never ran just a K&N element in a stock box... I can see how an...

We are excited to get it running to see how it does... it is so different from everything else we have done that we're not sure what's going to happen.
If all goes right we should...
There is an arguement to be made that these are turbo'd trucks and it makes a difference... but with that said...
We have used K&N's on our race truck for years... and it is a high compression race motor... 500+ hp from a V6... and we have never once had a problem with dust in the motor...
The newer liners are suppossed to be fade resistent... that's to be seen...

It's funny because we always seem to have people ready to test drive it.. :D LOL
Our hope is to have it ready for our next race in April. We'll see how it goes... I will try to get some video of it while testing... I used to have a video of the Class 7 truck testing... it was kind of funny...
Ourselves.... my nephew owns an off-road shop with everything you would need for racing or recreational off-roading. He is still working on getting his site going to sale online.
We found a long time ago that it was difficult to find parts and such ... and to get them at a decent price...

I thought I would share some of the pictures with you all... The truck is radically different than...

First hitch has been in for 5 years or so... this second one has only been in for a couple years now.

Anyways, I come across this stuff...
Yeah, I never did get the story of if he was running it dry... My first thought after I got off the phone with him was that if he's running it dry then he's going to have to wait for the line to purge of air...
I will have to find out more to see if it happens when switching from tank to...
