    1991 F250. Heater core is leaking, bought a crappy AZ heater core to replace it with. Found the heater box had nothing to hold the heater core in place in the box. What should be in there? The only thing holding the core in place now is the heater hoses...

    Alternator belt slap? 1991 F250 4x4

    strange thing. The part of the belt between the alternator and the crank pulley really flops back and forth while the engine is running. The belt seems tight deflection wise. Is it as simple as tightening the belt further? Thanks.. Scott

    Door latches? Have to really slam the doors to close them.

    Tried oiling the latches while the latch is on the door. Tried spray lithium grease into the latch while it is on the door. No change. Do I need to pull the latches out of the door shell to clean them and oil them or is there something else that I can do? Thanks, Scott

    There are some fusible links next to the right side battery that connect to the solenoid on the fender. While servicing my truck today I noticed that one of these links is burnt. Tracing with my continuity tester I find that it is the large yellow wire that has it's link burnt. Can anyone...

    battery light flickers

    I have a 1992 F250d that has the battery light flickering... The gauge indicates that it is charging ok, but the light flickers anyway. I have not tried a real voltmeter on the batteries to find out what the alternater is putting out voltage wise... But I did clean the battery cable ends...
