Heater core ... How is it secured in the box?

1991 F250. Heater core is leaking, bought a crappy AZ heater core to replace it with. Found the heater box had nothing to hold the heater core in place in the box. What should be in there? The only thing holding the core in place now is the heater hoses...

A piece of foam that wraps around the heater core is all.
