Looking for a good used 7.3 in SoCal
Anybody in the Central/SoCal area have a line on a good used 7.3? Mine developed a bad knock, threw injectors at it and no joy. Salvage yards here want $3500 (comes with a 90 day warranty). I can buy a junker truck with a diesel for less than that and swap engines. Need to tow the 5'r in...- Fozz

Free 3 inch exhaust!!
So I finally got a few days off from work and installed a new IP, injectors and 4 inch exhaust that have been sitting in my garage for a few months. I'm an idiot......gotta vent!
So I leave work to get some food tonight (it's dark), get my food, jump in the truck, check behind me and back out........crunch! I crunched my passenger-side dually fender on a parked small black Mercedes, I didn't even see it! I'm so pissed, that's the first time I've hurt my truck. So...- Fozz

So I'm thinking of the tranny lock-up mod....
So after doing some reading, I went and bought a switch to experiment with the torque convertor lock-up mod. But, then I'm thinking, I've got a fresh Ford reman in my truck, isn't the torque convertor locking up at highway speeds already? Assuming a properly operating tranny? So I guess my...- Fozz

Found a 'like new' 1992 bench seat.......
same color and everything for my truck.............it was 3 feet behind me! ;Sweet:rotflmao My front underseat springs/wires were starting to give way under my ummm...weight. E4OD - Sonnax vs Transgo tugger
For those of you that have any experience or know, I've been thinking of going with the Sonnax valve/tricumulator springs or the Transgo Tugger shift kit. I've talked to a couple of trans guys, and they say the Tugger kit is the way to go. What do you think? I put a Ford reman in the truck...- Fozz
