How much boost?
How much boost are you guys making with the hypermax system? Just wondering, becuase I just got mine running and the guages hooked up and the most I saw was around 8psi. I'm still breaking the motor in and no load behind it. Is this normal? I was just hoping for a little more.- hotford

Firewall Help?
Whats the part number for the small and the large repair kit? And Who has the best deal on them? My firewall is cracked at both mounting holes for the clutch master and the pushrod is halfway worn through and the pin on the pedal is half gone. Good find. Thanks for the help- hotford

Wierd elec. problem? I mean wierd>
I push the brake pedal--the starter turns the motor over. I turn on the right turn signal and the starter turns the motor over everytime the light blinks. All I was doing was cleaning up the rats nest of wiring that the last owner had left me. I guess something in that mess was fixing...- hotford

GP ?
I have a 85-I think-6.9 with the bullet type gp harness. I have a set of spade type GP's that will fit it. What is the difference between the bullet and spade type gp's and is one better than the other? If the spade's are better can I just change the bullet to a spade on the harness. I hear...- hotford

Piston Crack
Ok. I fianlly got my motor back from the machine shop after 6 weeks. Dude called me last night and siad I got a crack in one of the pistons by the pin. I just got the block honed to run the stock pistons. Should I get 1 new piston and hope for the best? Get a new set of standard sized...- hotford

I need a set. 85 6.9 IDI stadard size. I found one with a crack at the wristpin. What ya'll got? Would you just replace the one and not worry about it? Thanks for the help- hotford

Ok--It's Tore Down
I have a 85 F350 6.9 with 180k on it non-turbo. I got it the way it sits. It has a veggie conversion on it and has been one there for 20k. A while back it got hot so I parked it and looking into the cooling system. I replaced the water pump, rad, stat, and all fluids. Not hot now, but...- hotford

too hot
My 1985 f350 is getting hot. Seems to push fluid out the top off rad. No oil in the rad and no antifreeze in the oil. Alittle white smoke, but it dosen't smell sweet and its off and on.
