Oil filter light
oil filter light comes on when accelerating 2800-3000rpms and egt climbs guickly to 1200. If I back off throttle trucks runs fine but won't go over 70 mph. 1993 F350 crewcab 4x4 factory turbo 5sp new clutch; new fuel tanks, Facet lift pump, Wix fuel filter with 600 miles on it . Turbo swap
installing a factory turbo from a 1993 on a 1991 non turbo engine. Ran into a problem with the turbo oil fitting. 1993 block has 1/4 pipe thread for turbo oil line. 1991 block has 1/8 pipe thread. Will the 1/8 pipe fitting flow enough oil to the turbo?- Fitzy

Oil pan gasket and price of motor mounts
Replacing oil pan gasket on my 7.3. Purchased Felpro part 0S 34200 C. My pan only had RTV for the gasket. Is this what the factory used ? Should I use the Felpro gasket or just RTV ? The gasket is cork and rubber composit and is one piece type. Anyone ever use it ? Also, priced new motor...- Fitzy

Will a 5sp trans from a 1993 7.3 idi turbo engine bolt up to a 1991 7.3 that had an E4od. Do the turbo engines have a special crankshaft.- Fitzy

1991 E350 towing capacity
Anyone know the towing capacity on a 1991 E350 7.3 idi, 3:55 rear, E4od trans. GVWR is 9500. Need to tow a 10,000 lb load . Can this van handle it ?- Fitzy

New to the forum. Just got my first diesel; 1991 ford E350 van. Runs great, put a Hypermax 3 1/2" exhaust and k&n air filter. Did new return lines and glow plug relay. Timed it with Ferret meter at 8 degrees at 2000rpm. Egts : around town 35-45mph 400-500. On flat Texas interstates no load...- Fitzy
