What's everyone using for replacement Vacuum lines
I always just use that small flexable hose that slides over the old vacuum vacuum line. Its nice because you can wind it around to wherever you need it Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk- abepratt

bypassing oil cooler for coolant flush
I can't really do that considering the fact that I cut it into four pieces :D I have another used oil cooler cover, is it possible to redneck something together? Can I flush it thru the hole in the block where the intake sits? As you can see I really don't want to take it apart again- abepratt

I've got my 6.0 tore down to do head gaskets, studs, oil cooler, etc. Also got a coolant filter to put on. I'm wondering if there is any way to flush the cooling system without plugging my brand new oil cooler. Can it be flushed while its apart, before I put the new cooler in? Slow Cranking IDi
Mine was doing the same thing even after I replaced the starter. I tried new batterys and everything, just let it go for a while. Finally got fed up with it and it ended up being they had gave me a bad starter. Oh well they swapped it for free:D- abepratt

oil leak/trans problem
Everyone I talk to says he has a very good shop. I had him do a complete rebuild on it ($2500) the oil drip is definitely engine oil. The valley looks pretty dry. I guess this could be a separate problem, just came up at the same time. He just called again and said when he hooked his diagnostic...- abepratt

oil leak/trans problem
I took the truck into the shop this morning and left it. He just called and said they pulled the codes and it says the tc solenoid is bad. Surely that can't leak oil. He supposedly replaced all the solenoids so what could cause it to go if that is the problem? Thanks- abepratt

Hi Guys, I was driving home from work this afternoon in my 97 and my TC started locking and unlocking. I wasn't very happy because I just got a rebuild 2 weeks ago. I got home and looked under the truck and there was engine oil dripping all over. the main part of it seems to be coming form...- abepratt
