???? dying engine...
the old girl,,finally started to act up..339,480!!!!!! changed the lift pump,,cleaned the filter bowl,,and changed filter...fire up,head down the road,,could be 5 minutes later,1 minute,,changes..check engine light comes on,,and starts to stall out,,then catches. may run ok for a changing period...- sassyrel

tank screen or sock
forum attendees--the "filter assm" the fits on the bottom of the fuel intake tube on the sending unit,,inside the tank,,is still available---part number E5TZ-9J306-BA..new at ford,,,23.00,, wholesale--just picked one up--dont want to use a piece of fuel hose,,thats just me--- sassyrel

a real strange starter??
either on the "other" forum, or on this one, somebody talked about working on the marine version of the 6.9 and 7.3 diesels. anyone remember who it was--i have a ford starter, got off ebay, and is def a powerstroke starter. but its weird. the nose cone is longer than normal, so wont work. also...- sassyrel

oil cooler dilemma
