    So none of the gauges on the dash would work either like no oil pressure or temp, tach etc... and the gas pedal is electronic also so how does that work? I was told to swap the top of my motor over so that it everything would still work???

    Ive done it once but i took the starter out to do it. Now I have lifetime warranty starter.

    Mine does this also. It does it until all the cylinders light with fuel. Lasts a few secs.

    Ok i found a red wire with a orange stripe on it???? going to a gray plug with 6 or 8 other wires in the connector??? Only reason im asking is it is going to the connector with lots of other wires. thx

    WTB: 6.9 IDI oil dipstick tube!!!

    I need a 6.9 idi dipstick tube. When I did my headgaskets mine got bent and ford discontinued them. Im tried of guessing and I have made one out of brake line but it is so stiff it pulls out of the block everytime I check it. NEED ONE BAD!!! Let me know if you have one. thx Chris

    Probably just a short but with electrical you never know. Maybe something with the trans shorting something out would be my first guess not knowing tho.
