    New truck for me its a bone stock 97 3500 4x4 6.5l diesel. I want a little more power this truck is strickly for pulling. just some ideas would be appreciated and what to look for in the truck and also it only gets to about 170 while driving is that normal?

    I have a 92 idi in a shuttle bus and here is what I need help with, first what pound radiator cap should it have? Mine has a 7lb cap and ive never seen a truck with one that weak.     ok, some help would be appreciated. I have called around the local diesel shops in central ky and i get the same response that they dont know or wont do timing on my injector pump. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated.

    ok so just a replacement of the pump does not require timing, Im going to order my stuff and tackle this beast as soon as it gets in. I'm guessing it will be better to buy the new injectors fora little more money than the refurbs right?

    really that much of a difference? I checked out their website thanks now i just have to find somebody that knows how to replace and time the IP. also is there anywere i can find headers for my bus? I think that might help some also I already have 3 inch after the factory y pipe to a thrush turbo...

    ok thanks, how much am I looking at for the needed parts and also maybe labor? After looking it over I know I could do the injectors but the pump im not so sure. Also do you think by eliminating the clutch fan will free up any noticeable hp?

    ok what is a CDR? and what it is that im taking out of it? if i go to replace the inectors can you just take the lines loose from the injectors or does the whole rail need to come out? also will i notice any power gains from the mods i spoke of earlier?

    ok what all is replaced in a fuel system freshening i'm new to diesels so help is greatly appreciated. also how far down can i put the egt probe on the exhaust? i know on my racecar i have it as close to the head as possible but on the bus that is not an option.
