Moose pumps
I just built my exhaust last month and used a Diamond Eye 3"dp to 4" straight pipe exhaust system for the 94-97 PSD. I cut the flange off the turbo outlet and used a 3" v-band flange kit from eBay to fab up the dp. Came out really nice and definitely runs a lot better. The exhaust system also...- motoshop

DTC PO201 HELP/ oil preassure???????
Yes in this instance you dont need to change the oil warm. You're only trying to get the contaminated stuff out, so you may want to use a cheap oil. Change it with the cheap oil, drive it 500-1000 miles, and change it again.- motoshop

Oil Cooler O-Rings
Why are the o-rings for the oil cooler $110cookoo? Does anyone know where I might be able to get them cheaper? This is the fordparts.com price and I couldn't find them anywhere else...:dunno- motoshop

Update Just had my injectors pop tested...every one failed miserably. They looked like someone turned on a faucet. Combine that with the fact that I'm running WMO and you'll see where this is going. I called Blackstone this morning and they said the analysis was really odd because they NEVER...- motoshop

Yeah I keep getting the same resolution which is "just drive it and check it again next oil change". I will be rebuilding the oil cooler though no matter what, it just seems like the next logical thing to do whether its the problem or not. One more thought. I replaced the return line kit and copper injector seals a while back. When I did this, I noticed that 5-6 the injectors were wet and one had a really bad rust spot on the body. I also dont think I have much blow by. When I changed the oil, I had the oil cap removed while it was running after I had added the new stuff. There was nearly no air coming from the oil filler neck, but there was a ticking noise. I dont know about the ticking noise, but there definitely wasnt...- motoshop

Could the WMO be contaminating my engine oil and showing up in the report as wear? When in reality, the motor is not actually wearing excessively, but I'm showing a higher level of metals because of the fuel I'm using? I will send off the sample today, but I dont think this is the cause. I have only been running the WMO for about 3 weeks now and its really only been one batch (about 47gals). Bad new from Blackstone Laboratories...
I just pulled the radiator cap again and did notice some very small chunks of what looks like rubber. Could these be the seals in the oil cooler breaking down? Could there be a small leak in the oil cooler and maybe not enough oil in the coolant to notice? My coolant looks brand new with no...- motoshop

This is definitely not possible. I get all my WMO from a friend at a BMW dealership. He has a completely separate barrel that he uses just for my oil. So unless a car comes in with a blown head gasket or a crankcase full of AF, I'm positive I dont have any AF in the WMO. I also filter down to 3...- motoshop
