AH! so the key to all is the AFC tuning. one last thing, Injector wise.... i was thinking just the stock 215hp ones? not a big jump from the stock 175 but still some i guess.... thanks again!!!- mort

sweet!!! thanks for the input! i was thinking 5" exhaust, but i guess ill re think that one! when i was looking at rebuild kits some seem to push ya twords marine pistons, saying that the bowl is bigger? dont know why this would be good?? you think a number 8 plate would be to much?? and at...- mort

The only thing about using after market gauges is the cost! I'm trying to pull this off on a budget. I already got the cost of a Pyro and a boost gauge. And I honestly like the way the 92 cluster looks- mort

How bad is the wiring to swap? Do ya got to change all the harnesses out to match? I'd love to keep the newer style gauges!- mort

I need to find a red 92 dash first! The black and gray wouldn't match in the 84. I was figuring I would swap the fuel tanks too. The 460 has pumps in the tanks. Will the fuel selector valve care between gas or diesel fuel?- mort

I have the entire running 92 truck, but its a STD cab and all beat up. I was thinking the cabs were close to the same? Didn't know if I could do n entire dash swap or not. I don't know a lot about the 92 but being a five speed I don't think either truck has any computers on them that I know of...- mort

maybe its not enforced around here, because there is a lot of f550's in the area and i know a few guys that drive them for work and none of them have ever stopped at a scale or ben hassled about it :dunno- mort

good evening all, i had a few questions about a swap im considering. i have an 84 f350 quad cab 4x4 with a 460 and a c6. the only thing in wa state that goes across the scales is tractor trailers. i forget the gvw cut off for scales but its a ways over your normal rv and truck.- mort
