Lol a handful is right :p and hmm ya basically the chevy's are alot closer but i think i'm going to call that guy in georgia with the 7.3l and offer him 3k 3.5k at the most and see what he says. If not i guess i'll either have to wait or make due with a chevy that is for sale closer.- InhumaneIDI

6.5l Detroit vs 7.3l IDI Turbo
Hey guys just wanted to get some opinions. I decided against a power stroke for the simple fact i don't want to spend $350 a pop on an injector job. So basically I can decide between a 1994 7.3l Idi Turbo or a 1994 Silverado 6.5l. I'm basically looking for a reliable engine with decent fuel...- InhumaneIDI

Ha i wish i could guys, the trucks in Georgia however and i'm in ky thats why I had a ford diesel mechanic go look at it. The vin number 8th letter thing does match up as a 7.3l IDI diesel though if that helps. Theres a couple power strokes in the area with 180k on them i'm going to look at...- InhumaneIDI

Alright guys so I just had the truck inspected an i'm unsure if i'm going to get it or look for another truck. 1.The exhaust is rusted in half so It would need a new exhaust which isn't a big deal. 2.Right Rear Axle is leaking fluid... i'm kind of concerned about this 3.
