2001 TDI Just bought and now it surges. Help
I had my EGR deleted with a Malone tune. So nice to not have to worry about a clogged intake anymore. That and they fixed the hot start issue the 99.5's had.- haligen

worth persuing? bad clutch.......
That's a good deal, idparts.com has a vr6 clutch and flywheel combo for only $359 and I've changed one in a gravel driveway before. Just takes a few hours. My 99.5 is still on the original clutch at 225K so you will get plenty of life from the new one.- haligen

After talking to him thats what I figured. Would be cheaper to just get a motor and convert my dually that is in fairly decent shape then to pick up that one and try to bring it back to life. Oh well looked interesting at first.- haligen
