Has a block heater, 5,000 lb. air bag suspension in back, 5.9 litre CR, 48Re, full power everything, long bed and topper, set up for camper and snow plow (yeah, it's an Alaska truck)...

    Have you considered the possibility of a bad fuel pump or fuel filter?? sounds like you might be getting starved for fuel. That can be an intermittent problem.

    My '88 Burb has a 5.7L gas mill with a 700R4. With 352,000 on the clock, I'd swap in a 6.2 OR a 6.5 if Momma hadn't bought me the common rail. Still, I really like the 6.2 & the 6.5.
