Quick glow plug question
You slip the hose over the end of the plug and use it as a guide/tool to start threading the glow plug in. much easier to just have to get a socket on them for the final tightening- Dualie

Its been a while since I checked in here. I have been over at the diesel garage with most of my HD stuff. I put the Donaldsons on the KW and it seems to have picked up 20HP on the seat-o-pants meter. Which is about half a gear on most hills. Other up sides are it seems to spool a tad...- Dualie

Yea 15. 11 under the factory 100,000 mile extended warranty driving it off the dealers lot on day one with 115 miles on it the damn thing got locked in overdrive and stalled. 2 blocks from the dealer. The last ford reman lasted 90,000 miles. Then at 180,000 it **** the bed. The local guy...- Dualie

Dunno I think the IDI gods hate me? The excursion just turned 170,000 on the odo and I just now need to do the first real repair on it besides brakes and that's turbo pedestal o-rings a 2 hour job tops. Injector question
What's the proper torque for the injectors on a IDIT? Pulled and pop tested mine with a little over 60,000 on them and there's a couple with the bottom nozzle housing split up the side. These were Delphi injectors. IM just going to pick up a set of Stanadyne G codes locally and be done...- Dualie

OK well we just picked up a BRAND NEW shinny 2006 Kenworth T-800 heavy haul. :thumbsup: fitted with a C15, 18 spd 52,000lb. drives 22,000 lb. front with floatation tires. Full gauges the works every thing but leather seats. Really sweet looking gauges too like the new escalates. Installed...- Dualie

Thanks Calvin! ;Sweet Should I be worried too much about torqueing the glow plugs? I looked in all my ford manuals for the 94IDI and could not find the torque spec.'s either. I spent more damn time looking for my little piece of fuel hose to aid in installing the damn glow plugs than I...- Dualie

Quick glow plug question
I cant remember if your supposed to put anti seize on the glow plug threads or not. I have a professional grade conductive copper impregnated anti seize that I can use but I cant remember if it was a DO or a DO NOT. Any quick help would be appreciated. same questions go for the injectors...- Dualie

2spd rear problem
Options 1,2,3 were my first thoughts but what else would be needed? compressor, foot valve, parking valve, tanks, what else??? 2spd rear problem
Just bit the bullet and got a new switch. Still no low gear. Local ford HD dealer wanted 48.50 for the OEM part which they did not have in stock. Called around 3 different places that didn't have it finally got a Cole Hersee PN. 50036 for $8.69 +tax. Replaced part and still not...- Dualie
