Its just a case of a weak PMR motor, I have seen them go before and there will be more in the future. You see people say they are safe to 400hp and soem guys running 450hp on them but what one set can do and another is a different story. Head will be fine, lifter parts are from the rod slingin around and busting out the block around the lifters. I bet there isnt a mark on the head. The bent pr is from valave contact after the rod broke but valve should be fine, thats why the pr bent.- Bean

You can leave all the front stuff but it has to come off at one point or another. You will have to pull the charger but you dont have to pull the pedistal or up pipes. I have plenty of forged rods, cams, and blocks. Nothing built just core stuff that needs built. If you need something along...- Bean

Pull the front header panel, cross brace, rad., IC, bumper and you will have a nice open front end to pull it right out. pull your fuel lines loose, heater hoses, p/s hoses, take AC pump off and with a fender cover on the pass side fender fold over the condenser over the fender and take the pump...- Bean

Need some IDI help
The injectors are brand new stanadyne flavor. Still dont know why the pulse is jumping all over. You can see it in the little led light on the pulse adapter too, you can see the intermitent pause on a regular rythem. I should have my new didgital timming light on Wednesday and see what it does...- Bean

Yes it was all new injectors and reman pump. I did pull the cover but marked the position of the dowel pin on the cover before taking it off, being on a van the easiest thing to do was pull the cover with the pump and do everything on the bench then reinstall with the cover attached to the pump...- Bean

Need some IDI help
Got a 7.3 van here that we put in a Hmax turbo, injectors and IP all at the same time. I have it timed the best I can to 8.5 deg BTDC. Problem is it has a lope to it and smoke bad when cold and overall just isnt right. Its real hard to time cause any timming light I use it jumps all over and...- Bean

Mac Pulse adapter
How is the best way to go about using one of these to time a 7.3? I just bought one brand new and not sure how to use it with there only being a 0 deg mark on the tab, how do I get 8.5 BTDC?- Bean
