Most modern cellphones have GPS tracking already built into the phone. The rule of thumb is if you can message with your phone, you have it built in.

I didn't know about that. Wonder if I can set mine up or at least have the next one with it. Usually I hate carrying a cell phone but that would be a useful feature.

never seen that size, have seen 305/70, and that is a 34.

quick math on tire size. take 305 divide it by 25 (real number is slightly higher) then take the sidewall dealy, the 75 or 85 and double it, so you are 1 and a half, or 1.7.. multiply the divided by result (in this case 12) with the 1.X (in this case half) and add that to rim size. in this case its `18+16=34. Your new sneaks are 34" tall and 12" wide.

i stand corrected they are 305/70/16. i gotta dig up two more and some 1.5" spacers so i can run them when i make it a dually.

I lost boost, heard hissing under the hood, thermocouple backed out. Since I had to pull out tools idumped the 15 psi boost gauge and threw on the 30. The thunder pickle saw 22psi before the gov shut me down.

Dave Sponaugle on FTE has boosted his IDI into that range rather easily but he modded well beyond just adding a turbo. To date this is the only other account of a turbo boost that high that I have ever seen. Its an exclusive club, thats for sure.

He did mention that the valley pan/intake manifold gasket blew when pushing above 15 PSI. After studding the intake and exhaust manifolds he claims to be able to hit the mid 20s at will. I studded mine too, but I can barely break through 10 most days LOL.

I didn't really feel it was an epic event, I maintain 13psi in order to stay at 70 going up a grade.

And what are the EGT's? If not intercooled, that's a lot of heat and wasted boost.

Any boost over about 12 or 13 lbs is going to be some hot air entering the intake. As I understand its about 300 degrees at the pressure. I wouldn't feel right posting a temp at 22 lbs and no intercoler or "tricks" added to the motor. But this is impressive non the less on a stock motor still using head bolts that are known to be the weak link... Just keep going... This is great information on what works... I see the pickle is almost to nashville as of now....:sly;Sweet
