How does the mapping thing work, will it track you in real time or do you have to enter your location every time?

It tracks you via your cell phone. As long as its GPS capible you have to download an applications for it. It tracks you and refreshes the page at a set time.

One thing to note, it will track your speed too. A buddy of mine went on a trip on his motorcycle and a few times it showed well into the triple digits.... Oooops! I'm not sure if that can be used against you.

it updates every 5 seconds and is acurate to 1000 feet. it works off the gps in my phone.

Thanks guys. Again, I have the 911 contacts copied BUT, if I.m not really gonna know who is close to my locations as I make my way east. If I do have a problem, I will post that I am in need I will also repost the link to the instamapper so that you all can see where I am and maybe direct the closest person to me. my phone number is 951-795-0027.
