And what are the specs on the 6.5 cams?
they also turn higher rpm, which is one thing you all know i do to mine too
Maybe me and Russ can meet up after my engine work and run up to Portland for a few dyno runs.
I'm going to run a torque cam, my pump wide open, wastegate unhooked with 6.0 intercooler, .020" off the pistons, clean up the heads, head studs. I will also make a run with the cold idle advance on to see what the power difference is.
After that, I will look into Moose injectors and a pump of some sort.
I would be happy with 200-225hp and 400-450ft lbs of torque at the wheels when its said and done. Any more than that will be gravy
I thought your new truck only turned 3300rpm's?
Did you break down your engine yet?
yea it only turns that high but im about to fix that by either putting a 7.3 pump i got here that is set to 3700 or i will just put a 4000 rpm spring im gettin from mel, but someone is going to have to give me instuctions on how to change springs so i dont fck it up and really mess something up,
Why cause im always foot in the floor??
I think I am going to name one of my cams after you. I'll call it the "Leadfoot Special"; goes to 6000rpms, requires twins, an inline pump and complete billet bottom end. You'll be my tester for that one.;p

yea but they still dont turn higher than 4000rpm which ours can do easily.
