A 91 f350 7.3 auto. It has a new ip and starter but needs a radiator. Guy wants 2000 bucks but I'm scared about cavitation. What do you think go for it?

Same as my 88 7.3 had.
That return line from the pump looks a little wonky how it's hooked up to the filter.
But that filter head looks a little older. Could be 6.9.

whats the story on the radiator?
why is the IP return line going into the fuel supply line?
seems odd to me...
could be an aftermarket filter head, the 6.9 head i use has a nipple for the fuel return.

I say get it even if it is a 6.9. They run good and have less cavitation issues.

yeah, I mean if the oil looks good, and the coolant looks good go for it. it seems like the $2000 is there even if there are motor issues. that rust free rear quarter looks great!

In CT, CL clowns would be asking 3-4x that price. That's my ideal platform there and it allows you to put in a Champion radiator, change out the hoses, and fill the SCAs properly.
