i know where, theres this 1991,4x4,crew cab,f350,460 gas hog. the guy uses it very little, not in best of shape. but id like to own it,because of the drive train. get good used cab , if thats bad, and front clip, but go to a 1992 cab and mtl. then put the turbo dsl engine and built e4od in it. simple, and tough!!! and no darrin, no derge!!!!!! LOL :sly LOL

Dreamin on the price, but looks very nice. If it were a diesel it might sell for that, but never on a gasser. Nobody in there right mind drives a truck that gets the MPG that a 460 gets.

I would say he will probably get it - it's only got 6k miles. And here in the midwest something like that is going to the talk of the county - someone will snatch that up. You boys that live in a area that doesn't throw salt down on the roads like there is no tomorrow don't understand the value of a rust free / salt free truck out this way and I'm speaking from Indiana - it's gets worse as you go to Michigan. When I picked up the Nanny Goat from down south for $6800 with 170k on the ticker (rust free) I could have sold it for more up here but I wanted a rust free truck so that is why I kept it.

Problem is, the only person who can get it, is someone with cash or a home equity loan. No bank is going to lend money for that one as collatoral, when book is so low.

Ok Guys, I couldn't resist, I had to go look at it, I sent him an e-mail and he gave me a call. The truck is at his business about 10 minutes from my shop. So I headed over there met him and WOW What a Beautiful Truck! here is the scoop.

1991 F350 Crew Cab Dually Centurion Conversion, Alcoa Rims, TV, the stock tanks were replaced with Transfer Flow Tanks.(about $1400.00 if you have never priced them out before).

He bought the truck brand new to tow his fully restored 1955 Packard Convertible. Then he only went to 2 shows a year. YOu can see the Packard and the trailer in the back ground in the last pic.

It has only been rained on once. it has been stored at his business in a heated shop all of its life.

This thing has to be THE best 91 dually in existence today. You could drive it into any car museum or car show and it would be at home. There is not a scratch or a dent, it looks like brand new!

I think this is more like a $15K truck with the right buyer.
Here are some pics that I took today:

15k...not a chance. Great truck, Bad mileage. I just sold my 94 fuel injected F250 460 truck, it was a single cab, ran perfect. It got a whopping 11 mpg, loaded or not, and my truck wieghed a lot less then this dually. This truck would be a real Gem, and would fetch 11k easy with a 7.3 under the hood, but I say no way being a big block gasser. You got to be nuts to pay that much for that truck! Shore is beautiful though.
