kind of new beru GPs, cycles properly etc. all oiginal fuel system though with 450 kms. takes about 5-7 seconds of cranking no matter what temp. it sputters in that time, and eventually goes BOOM all at once, and idles smooth-no dying or shaking. any ideas?

im repalcing the complete fuel system but just wondering.

The line going to lift pump on the frame has a hole in it, I slipped some rubber hose over it and double clamped it.

Seems to be return lines, caps and o-rings are most common. But could be injectors and pump so worn it's retarding the timing just enough that it's harder to start. Once the engine is warm, is it the same story?
