dead pump?

No matter what I do I dont have any pressure in the fuel lines they just drip. What shoud I do? Its a new pump is it defected?

Dude, looks like you have it figured out! I would say you have bled out all the air. It won't spray at crankiong speed, just drip or lightly spurt. Crank those down and fire it up. I won't suspect a new defective pump unless you ahve symptoms such as poor fuel mileage, low power, or it won't run at all. It probably isn't a bad idea to get teh thing timed with tools if you can. That being said, mine is static timed, but I'm sure it's not perfect. Good enough not to hurt anything and to have it run decent though.

Also at "idle" the pump pumps little fuel. Hold the accelerator all the way down to get the maximum amount of fuel from the pump.

Even then it doesn't "spray" out. Bleed for about 90 seconds (cumulatively) then tighten the lines and try to start it. All you need to do is bleed till no more air bubbles are coming out.
