FSV delete. What wires to make gauge work

pickup tube strainer required?
So im putting a 38 gallon tank in my truck and im wondering do i really need a strainer in there. I got a filter before the fuel pump so thats not really a problem. It seems they either clog up or break apart and then you run out of fuel at a 1/4 tank.- Daniel McCurdy

off brand 38gal tank
So iv seen a few tanks that are not the Spectre brand F26E tank. Are these alright to use with the diesel/ i dont know if they have any coating on them or not as it doesnt say. its 157$ on ebay while the spectre tank is 200 so theres a decent bit of savings there.- Daniel McCurdy
