turbo dumping boost?
Ok my buddy has a 00 or 01 I cant remember its a 6spd with cold air intake and a super chip in it. Going down the road if you floor it the truck revs up and then at around 2500 rpm or so it dumps the boost out some where. Is this totally normal does it damage anything. Thanks for the help...- tnerb

glow plug questions again
well the GPs are shot on my truck im gonna replace them now im pretty sure there auto lites in there i think i didnt put them in and there probably about 2 years old now. ive heard they can suck to get out so any tips. should the motor be hot or cold anything would help as i gotta do this in...- tnerb

gears and ttb to dana 60 swap
anybody got an idea or can tell me how to figure out what gearing is in my truck without pulling the diff cover. its an 84 6.9 with a 4spd and its an f-250 oh and 4x4. and has anybody done the ttb to dana 60 swap ive read its a fairlly straight forward bolt on but what about drive shaft and...- tnerb

I don't know much about these transmissions or diesel in general but anyways I can get a zf 5 speed and tcase for cheap its out of a 1990 250 with a 460 will this work behind my 84 6.9 or does anyone have info on this swap or a link to info on a 5 speed swap.
