Problems Again!
Well I filled it back up with tranny fluid, it took a little over 7 quarts. I bought a couple of cases of tranny fluid so when I decide what kind of tranny cooler I want I will just drain this stuff out hook up the cooler and put in new stuff. Kind of like giving it a flush. Problems Again!
Ericbotin, Thank you for your response... It is a releif to hear someone else that had the same problem. I thought the tranny was toast. I have been holding off putting fluid in it until after I figure out what I was going to do for a trany cooler or new pan or both, I kindof hate to get...- Bwise

Thanks again for the responses, not having much experience with this truck I am very happy to have your advice. I went looking for a Tranny cooler, possibly a new pan with a larger resivor, I also found a pan that had fins on it to aid in cooling. I don't plan on doing much towing, but I do...- Bwise

Wow... Thank you everyone for the posts. I was pulling a trailer but very little weight probably 500 pounds total, regular highway trafic. not stop and go either. I hope it is not a sign of things to come. I don't have any external cooler or filters so, so do you think it would be...- Bwise

Problems Again!
Not that any of my issues have been to major so far but this one has got me stumped. it looks like I dumped all of my tranny fluid out of this tube no transmission fluid registers on the dip stick. its just in front of the transmission pan, and behind the oil pan. there are other...- Bwise

Thanks for the replies, it has to be the fuel selector valve, after driving it for a few miles it started acting up again. so I switched to the back tank to find it empty, I pulled into the first station I found and filled up the back tank, but not the front tank, I headed off down the road...- Bwise
